Class Assessment Task
Friday 20th August
Make sure your journal character maps are complete.
(I will be marking them on Monday)

Look at the development of the characters in your character maps.
What are the most significant changes in each character?

Write a PEC paragraph about each character.

Post your three paragraphs on your own class member page.
Just click on easy edit and you will be able to edit your page.

Explain how they have developed and changed throughout the novel.
Remember to use quotes from the novel to support your ideas.

Read and reply to at least three other people's posts.

I have picked this quote because it stands out to me in a way that he dosen't like this place, Luo has a feeling that this trip isn't going to end well. Because they are having such a bad time they lost all hope in surviving.

"At that instant the glint of the vigilant Communist reappeared in the Headman's eyes, and his voice turned hostile." (page 5)

this quote is aiming at the Headman's observent personality and Communist nature, paying high attention to Mao and Luo and their objects that they have braught with them. The Author is trying to persuade the reader that the Headman is very strict and obaying chief, that believes very highly in the Communist goverment.
